My husband and I always agreed that the best way to relax is to temporarily getaway from all the stress of work and the hustle and bustle of the busy city. It was our 7th year wedding anniversary and the finest gift we can give to ourselves is to relax. Since we cannot go out-of-country because of work and budget as well, we only planned to stay in a nearby hotel.

It took us couple of days to decide in which hotel we should stay for couple of days. We ended up with two choices. Both hotels are pretty nice but the one that we didn't choose was too far from the city. We decided to stay in Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi because aside from the good location which is just about right distance away from the city, we find it quite affordable in Booking.com. The price we got includes the breakfast for two. I read good reviews which is one of our deciding factors as well.

We booked at Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and I called their reservation department to confirm our booking. I also reiterate the request that I've also noted in Booking.com. I asked the reservation staff if we can check-in at least an hour earlier and for a late check-out as well. I also clearly asked for non-smoking area. I informed the staff that it is our anniversary so I'm hoping for a favorable response for my request. He told me that he will put it on note and that they will do their best to comply with my request.




OK we are a little too excited that we came an hour and half earlier from the usual check-in time. The front desk attendant, Ms. Jessica, politely assisted during our check-in. She was very accommodating and very professional. She even greeted us for our anniversary. Although we were there very early, Ms. Jessica did our check-in procedure. We were so happy that we can start to relax early as well.

Sale is equals to makeup haul! ;) Since sale is always the best time to buy good drugstore products, I always grab that opportunity. And I guess my husband enjoyed it too, because he was the one buying me all this kikays ;) Yes, he spoiled me too much.

Anyhow, here's my quick review of these lovelies. I will soon post my makeup video using these babies.




Here are what I bought:

• NYX Concealer (3CP03 - Deep/Profound)
• NYX Pore Filler (POF01)
• NYX Eyeshadow (S130-Wicked Dreams)
• NYX Liquid Matte Lipstick (LIPLI 12- Exotic)

NYX Concealer (3CP03 - Deep/Profound) - I was supposed to buy the lighter shade of this  but since it is not available, I bought this darker shade. Anyhow, it is still a good concealer for my skin imperfections and very nice shade for contouring. It is very creamy and pretty easy to blend. They are very pigmented and require just a small amount to built up from medium to full coverage.
NYX Pore Filler (POF01) - This has a velvety, silky-smooth texture and fill in over pores, making them less noticeable. Its color is light peachy and unscented. It is weightless and has a matte finish which I personally love. Although the pore filler coverage isn't very high, I think it is a good primer especially to light to medium makeup coverage.

It was one of our usual not-so planned weekends that we decided to head up to Dubai. Since my husband's favorite mall is Dragon Mart, we decided to book a nearby hotel just for an overnight stay. Dragon Mart 2 recently opened early this year so I assumed that a whole day won't be enough to roam around both malls. If you haven't been there, it is quite huge! Plus to check out everything and to bargain (yes, you can ask for a discount!) you definitely need a lot of time.

I booked Ibis Styles Hotel couple of days ahead of weekend. It was a last minute deal in Booking.com so we got it in a very affordable price including breakfast for two. The location was perfect for us since we aimed to maximize our Dragon Mart mall 1&2 strolling. The hotel is just 2 minutes away from both mall branches, so we were also able to rest in the hotel in between our strolling escapade. The parking space is very convenient and spacious, only that, since it is in an open area, our car was directly under the heat of the sun. Car park sunshades would be perfect I guess.

Ibis Styles Hotel is quite far from the busy city center of Dubai, which for us and for some might find it as a plus point. The hotel ambiance was very calm and homey. Its minimalist interior and the earthy color tones perfectly matched.

I was a little hesitant to book here in Ibis Styles since I thought it would be the same as our previous Ibis hotel experience. The room we had before was quite small, though I understand that it is a budget hotel, and the experience was not so pleasant. I was really surprised to see that our standard room in Ibis Styles was a lot bigger compare to Ibis here Abu Dhabi. Plus we enjoyed the fast WiFi throughout the property!

One of the main reasons we recommend a hotel to our friends, aside from the facilities and location, is because of the good services and the attitude of the staff. The staff were all very professional and attentive. They were all smiling and very much approachable. It is definitely two thumbs up for a superb service.

I don't usually do review for any diet pills or supplements but when I was contacted to do a review about Inversion Femme, I did a little research and I was quite intrigued from all the good reviews I read. My doctor said it is ok to take it even while I am in my medication. So I started using it a week after I received the boxes.



1 box contains 90 capsules. 2 Red capsules should be taken in the morning after good breakfast and 1 Silver Capsule to be taken at night. During my first week of taking Inversion Femme I really didn't notice any changes. I was kind of impatient in waiting for results but good thing that I continued taking them.



In a nutshell
In less than a month I already noticed a slight improvement in my hair. It is softer and tamer than my usual hair days. The breakage was also lessen. I've been using the same shampoo and conditioner ever since so I'm sure that the improvement wasn't just because of those.

While my hand nails noticeably hardened and the crack were lessened. The skin on my feet were slightly better that before. I also lost 4.5 lbs in 3 weeks time. It is not much because I'm lazy but I'm getting there. Well, of course, just like any other weight loss techniques, I've cut-off some carbs and oily food intake. I also ate more fruits and vegies as well to help in better digestion.

In just 3 weeks time, it is quite remarkable to have such improvements. Although I am really impatient in waiting for more improvements, I am sure to continue taking these magic pills. The price is a little costly compare to other multivitamins but having such improvements, it is definitely worth it!

In a nutshell: So, I guess I can!!!! But why should I limit my self in 5 minutes to do my makeup? Well, yes, there are some situations that you really need to be quick but I think it is only a matter of deciding whether to put or not to put makeup on. If you decided to put your makeup, then consider taking reasonable time in enhancing your beauty. If you chose not to put on makeup, then I believe that it is perfectly fine.

It is all a matter of our personal preference. Some can even do their simple makeup in less than 5 minutes. Powder, blusher and a lipstick will only take 3 minutes to put on. Some might not even put blusher on. I usually just put on my powder and lipstick everyday before I got obsessed in doing my brows. Then I learned the importance of contouring, the use of mascara and highlighters, then my life gets a little complicated. lol :)
