There are different ways on how to shape and clean unwanted hair around you eyebrows. Some do threading, plucking and some use razor. I used to pluck my brows but then I learned that using a razor is much easier and painless.

Here's a quick way on how I do it :)

1. Put a very small amount of moisturizer around your brows.
2. Using eyebrow pencil, line a perfect arched brows and lightly fill the the center brows.
3. Use an eyebrow brush to blend the color of the pencil to your natural brows.
4. Using razor, clean up stray hairs outside your lined brows.

After doing these techniques, your brows will be properly trimmed and shaped even without make-up.

I still pluck at times but the problem, well aside from it's painful, is that I sometimes over plucked and my brows ended up very thin :(

I do my brows razor-shaping at least twice a week. And like plucking, razor-shaping is also a bit addicting, so just keep it under control.

Even if I do my brows pencil shaping everyday, there were days that I still couldn't get it right on my first try. So make sure that you did a perfect brow pencil shape before cleaning unwanted hair around your brows with razor.

Here's how I do it. :)

This razor is what I use to shape my brows :)

I am not an expert but whenever my friends asked me what to do during a marriage conflict or whenever they are both stressed about anything, I simply tell them pray, talk, love, eat and getaway! Yes, I typed it in sequence. Pray - I always ask guidance to God in everything. Talk - As I am sure that I have the proper guidance of the Lord, I already have the confidence of communicating to my husband to discuss our problem or whatever is bothering me. Love - Most of the time whenever we have arguments it does matter to figure out who's fault it is but also because of love we accept things no matter what they did as long as they recognize their mistake; and also because of this, it reminds us the reason why are we in this position in the first place. Eat and Getaway! - these two might not really be something essential but these are good ways to rekindle the excitement of being a couple. A simple dinner, in a restaurant or home-cooked, it doesn't really matter where, but the setting of the mood should always be something special. Getaway to anywhere - park, beach or anywhere you think romantic that he or she will appreciate and have time with you.

From the past weeks that I was very stressed from work, family back in the Philippines and so much about everything else, my husband surprised me last weekend for 2 nights hotel stay within Abu Dhabi but far from the busy lights of the city. Just perfect ambiance to relax.

My husband knows exactly what I need and it definitely relieved me temporarily from all the stress. We stayed in Novotel Hotel in Abu Dhabi gate with inclusive breakfast for two. It is a 4-star hotel and a great value for money. Below are some photos of us, the breath-taking view outside our room and of course the food :)

***In a nutshell: As for me, couples should always spend time exclusively together at least once a month. A date night, a walk in the park, watch the sunset, or whatever you will both enjoy together. Also, both should be sensitive enough to feel if your partner is going through something. It could be about your relationship with one another or if he or she is stressed-out with something else. Always take time to ask how's his/her day and listen to whatever he/she wants to express. Respond sensitively. A hug is always effective way to comfort, and assure him/her that everything will be alright. You are partners for life and you should always be best friends as well. Enjoy life together!

Being married for almost six years now is indeed an achievement. I know that we still have lots to deal with, but with God's grace I'm confident that we will be able to overcome anything.

There were times that we both want to give up, then we paused, calmed ourselves, talked and realized that we can still patch things up. At times, we both feel tired of the same arguments and tend to guard our hearts from giving our love as a whole to avoid disappointments and we put boundaries between each other. Yes, it lessen the disappointments, but it also limits our happiness and makes our relationship dull.

I would say that my husband is a good man - generous, loving, he always cheers me up, cleans our house, cooks if he have time, do the laundry most of the time, spoiled me in every way. But like any other couples, a good communication is something we both have to work on.

We both have something to learn in expressing ourselves and how to deal with it - verbally, emotionally and physically. Sometimes, the real problem is not what we have said but how we said it. We also need to be sensitive enough to understand what are the unspoken feelings. I guess, if you really know your spouse it will be easy to comprehend. But sure enough, there were times we really can't decode such, and the best option is to open-up and listen. Listen not to have something to answer back but listen to understand.

The "spark" is almost not there after so many arguments and disappointments. But looking deeper, the "spark" is still there, but it is something we have to work-on just like so many other things that we have to learn in a relationship. I am not an expert but I am sure that for marriage to work, both husband and wife should agree to stay together and humbly work-on to understand each other.

Recently, we watched for the nth time the Fireproof movie. It is a Christian movie about keeping the marriage. There is this Love Dare notebook that the husband in the movie used as a guide on how to rekindle the love and learn the worth of their marriage. I googled a copy of the Love Dare notebook, printed and gave it to my husband. I also kept a copy in my desktop so we both have something to guide us.

***In a nutshell: Always give your 101% best in your marriage. Good communication and taking action are some of the best ingredients of a flavorful togetherness. Small gestures of love and kindness, humility, openness, and continuously getting to know your spouse will surely add up in keeping the "spark" alive. And God being in the center of your relationship, you're both assured that you will be together in love. Indeed it will take time and extra effort to polish the relationship but it will surely be worth it.

Kind of addict to have more cameras :)
I know it is an expensive collection so I really try to convince myself that it is not practical :(
But, but, but..... Ok.... But another one or two won't really hurt, I guess :)
Well, most of these were gifts from my husband...
I love photography but not really a pro. I just love cameras, that I'm sure of!
Been busy preparing few decors and cup cakes for Pot-pot's birthday (our friends' daugther). Although I've been hospitalized few days before the event, that didn't stop me to do my crafts.

I made the cup cakes and cake pops 😉

Lately I've been experiencing depression and anxiety. I have discussed this with my husband so that in case I am causing him some troubles, especially with my extreme emotions, somehow he can handle it. Well, it's not new to him though. I have felt this several times and I just told him that I will conquer it but requested him to be patient in some situations.

Yeah, I've always been strong and there are times I feel so down, confused, disappointed and pissed off with my life. I felt that I haven't done so much for myself which I deserve. I don't even know how to explain this kind of feeling....

As much as I would like to discuss this emotions to anyone else, I am just afraid that they will not understand and tell me that I am just over thinking. Well, I get that all the time. I've heard that most of the time. I over think, I worry too much, and that I'm a control freak. I guess I am, but I just have this something inside me that is bursting to come out, to explore, to do something ,,,,to travel, to have a career change,,, I don't know :(

I told myself and promised my husband that I will figure this out. I don't know how but I am sure that I can fix it.

We did some prenuptial shoots for my brother and it was a great timing that the infamous Dubai Miracle Garden just opened that week :) ....  It was a perfect weather! Although they are the topic of the shoot, well, my husband and I will definitely not miss this chance to have our moments as well ;)
